Graduated from King Saud University with MBBS, Board Certified Emergency Medicine Consultant, completed my fellowship at University of California- Irvine (UCI) in clinical simulation and medical education and received an award of excellence. Acquired the M.S. degree in Academic Medicine and medical Education from the University of Southern California (USC) an elite university and ranked one of the top 20 universities. Certified Health Simulation Educator (CHSE) certified from the Society of Simulation In Healthcare (SSIH) and a graduate of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP )Teaching Fellowship . I have publication and special interest in Tele-simulation and outreach medical training and have established the Innovation Unit at my capacity as the Director of Operation and Director of Life support Center at Princess Nora University Simulation center prior to my appointment as the Executive Director with four focuses: Innovation and Research in Simulation , Tele-simulation and outreach, Virtual and Mixed reality in simulation based education and 3D printing. I am the leader of PNU simulation center SSIH (Society of Simulation In Healthcare) accreditation mission which was successfully fulfilled with a full accreditation in - less than 1 year-all main domains: Core, Teaching and education, assessment and research. A member of the Founder Executive Board of the Saudi Society of Simulation in Healthcare(SSSH) , the Chair of the Medical Education Section at the Saudi Arabian Society of Emergency Medicine (SASEM).I have also chaired multiple committees at PNU/KAAUH and have contributed in several local and international renown conferences as a scientific / organizing committee chair, member or a speaker. Former Executive Director of the simulation center at Princess Nora University the largest simulation center in the world, and currently the Chair of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety and an Emergency Medicine Consultant at King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz University Hospital.
